The purpose of this page is to keep us all informed as to the progress of the building of this website. By all of us I mean myself, the officers of the International Masonic Poetry Society, and anybody else who is interested, particularly our visitors. I have placed a link to this page on the front page of the website and suggest that you use it regularly to avoid missing important and interesting updates, additions, and other such digital magic.

Latest Website Update News

The Search capability and the contact us form are still being programed.

This area has been added to the IMPS website so that IMPS officers, members, and visitors can easily keep up-to-date with the many additions, changes, or amendments being made to our evolving website and Internet presence. Do please have a quick look at this page whenever you visit the IMPS website so that you are aware of what is happening within our Masonic Poetry community.

May 2010. Programmed and added Flash database driven Guestbook to the website.

Mid February 2010. Published and linked all 45 graces from our previous website. Placed copy of navigation bar at top of G21 to G45 and will do the same from G1 to G20 once templating issue in Dreamweaver is fixed.

Mid February 2010. Prepared a further 25 graces and updated list of graces. These extra 25 graces will be published asap.

Mid December 2009. Added a further ten Masonic poems. Continuing to digitise poems from our printed journal The Masonic Compass with a view to publishing some of them on this website for the benefit of Freemasonry.

Beginning December 2009. Completely rewritten the Links page which now contains links to some really interesting and informative websites. A great place to start your Masonic research.

End of November 2009. More coding done behind the scenes and About IMPS page added.

End October 2009. Uploaded another ten Masonic Poems. Received the latest copy of the IMPS publication Masonic Compass.

Mid October 2009. Completely backed up remote website to local hard disk and then deleted current website. Uploaded restructured website to server and tested. Unfortunately found a problem with the navigation links at the bottom of the poems pages. Now fixed and working.

Early October 2009. Heliopolis Cairo and on flight from Egypt to London Heath Row. Completely restructured the masonic poems area of the website. Inserted the first lines of all poems and created directory of another 20 masonic poems.

Late September 2009. Beside the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Cairo Egypt. Decided to put this page on the website so that we could all keep a check on what was happening with the website and to provide me with a sort of diary - blogg to keep a record of jobs done and remind me of those still to do.

MId September 2009. Luxor Egypt. Added meta tags to every website page and registered with major search engines. This should swiftly increase our rating in Google searches.

Late August 2009. New page templates created and installed together with updated CSS which allows the look and feel of every page in the website to be easily changed by adjusting a few lines of code and we have started uploading content. The first 20 Masonic poems and 10 Graces made available to general public. Navigation added to the bottom of all poems and graces.

Mid June to Mid August 2009. Purchased and heavily modified website template

Early June 2009. Purchased new website address (URL) www.masonicpoetry.com
